BE CREATIVE. BE UNIQUE. BE YOUR BRAND.
A curated collection of posters and flyers that showcase my love for expressive typography, bold visuals, and storytelling through design.
THE BRIEF
THE PROJECT
This collection features work created for a mix of personal projects, local clients, and creative briefs. Each project started with a different goal, from honoring personal stories and memorials to building bold, brand-driven visuals or exploring typographic art. Their briefs often focused on storytelling, emotion, and strong visual impact, giving me room to experiment with typography, illustration, and composition.

Edgar Allan Poe’s Portrait
Typography Portrait | Illustator + Photoshop
This poster showcases Edgar Allan Poe’s portrait using typography as a form of art. Designed entirely in black and white, it captures the dark, moody aesthetic closely associated with Poe’s literary work. The focal point of the piece is the word RAVEN, carefully formed using text from his most well-known poem. The typeface was chosen for its inky strokes and expressive texture, which echo the tone of Poe’s writing. When viewed up close, each shadow and detail of the portrait is made up of words, reinforcing the connection between the author, his language, and the haunting atmosphere of his stories.
The Corvus
Digital Art | Illustator + Procreate
This piece features a digitally illustrated raven that represents both myself and my connection to art. I wanted to balance raw, sketch-like lines with moments of elegance, adding careful detail to each feather so it feels alive and intentional. The watercolor texture was added on purpose to bring in a bit of roughness and an organic feel, which reflects how I approach my personal work. The raven has always connected to my darker aesthetic, so this piece became a quiet reflection of my identity, my style, and the mood I’m drawn to when I create for myself.
Fallen Icon: Chester Bennington
Iconic Poster | Photoshop + Illustator
A tribute in honor of Chester Bennington, aimed at symbolizing the impact of his passing on the music industry. The design incorporates contrasting colors of blue and red, symbolizing the emotional turmoil within his music. The poster features his image surrounded by the lyrics that spoke to me the most growing up with his music, in order to create a visually striking and emotionally resonant piece that captures the essence of his music and legacy.
Into Angels They Become
Iconic Poster | Photoshop + Illustator
This personal poster was created as a tribute to my grandfather, Papa Carlos, after his passing. I designed it to represent his final home in heaven and to bring comfort to my family, especially my mom during a very difficult time. The piece includes Catholic symbolism, with an angelic portrayal of my grandfather and the light of Jesus watching over him and all of us below. Using my skills in art and Photoshop, I tried to capture a feeling of faith, love, and connection, something that reminds us he is still with us in a different way.
After sharing this piece, others began reaching out to ask for memorial artworks for their own loved ones. What started as a personal tribute slowly turned into a series focused on faith, healing, and honoring those who have passed. Creating these has become a meaningful way for me to help people process loss while capturing a spiritual presence for someone they hold close to their heart.
Doc Marten
AD Flyer | Photoshop
This poster was designed as a typography-driven advertisement for Doc Marten boots, with type taking the lead as the main visual element. The idea was to create something bold and eye-catching that reflects the brand’s edgy, rebellious energy. I focused on using typography in a playful but impactful way to communicate the durability and iconic style Doc Martens are known for. The final design leans into the brand’s attitude and aesthetic, aiming to connect with people who see their boots as both a fashion statement and a form of self-expression.
